A global engineering services provider in Lisbon is seeking a Software Project Manager to plan and deliver closed-scope, fixed-price software projects. The ideal candidate will have at least 6 years of experience and a strong background in agile methodologies, client relationship management, and project delivery. • Fluency in Portuguese and English, both written and spoken.

YOUR ROLE

As a Software Project Manager (Fixed Price Projects), you will:

• Plan and deliver closed-scope, fixed-price software projects, ensuring strict adherence to contractual commitments, delivery standards, and timelines.
• Lead day‑to‑day service delivery operations, guaranteeing compliance with SLAs and KPIs.
• Build and nurture strong client relationships, acting as a trusted advisor and primary point of contact.
• Drive service improvement initiatives to enhance operational performance and maximize client satisfaction.
• Collaborate with technical leads and project teams to ensure seamless integration between services and project deliverables.
• Monitor service performance proactively, identifying and mitigating risks, deviations, and potential issues before they impact delivery.

YOUR PROFILE

• Minimum of 6 years’ experience in project management, with a proven ability to deliver complex software projects successfully.
• Track record of delivering fixed-price and closed-scope projects in the local market, meeting contractual, timeline, and quality commitments.
• Deep understanding of Agile and hybrid methodologies, with hands‑on experience applying best practices to optimize delivery.
• Solid background in software development, ensuring full comprehension of project lifecycles and technical dependencies.
• Expertise in managing SLAs, KPIs, and client-facing service operations, driving performance and compliance.
• Recognized project management credentials; certifications such as PMP or PRINCE2 are highly valued.
• Fluent in Portuguese and English, both written and spoken, enabling effective communication across diverse stakeholders.
• Good communication and stakeholder management skills, with a strong ability to align expectations and deliver measurable business value.
