Job summary

CAPGEMINI ENGINEERING is seeking a skilled Requirements Engineer to develop and maintain the project RM Plan, coordinate the RM process, and support engineering teams across the lifecycle. You will ensure traceability, verification and validation, manage changes, and report RM KPIs while collaborating with customers and suppliers.

Ideal candidates hold a university degree in Electrical or Systems Engineering, possess strong analytical and communication skills, and speak Portuguese and English

Qualifications

• University degree in Electrical Engineering, Systems Engineering, or related field.
• Proven experience in Requirements Management within engineering or complex projects.
• Experience in Quality Management, traceability, verification and validation.
• Experience in Configuration Management and change control is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Develop, maintain, and implement the Project Requirements Management Plan.
• Establish, coordinate, and monitor Requirements Management throughout the project lifecycle.
• Support engineering teams in requirements definition, allocation, traceability, baselining, verification and validation.
• Perform requirements quality reviews for completeness, clarity, and testability.
• Manage changes and support impact assessments with Configuration Management.
• Monitor compliance and KPIs, conduct audits, report RM KPIs.
• Coordinate RM activities with customers, suppliers, and stakeholders.
• Support RM tools and repositories maintenance.
• Identify risks and opportunities, support mitigation, ensure process compliance.
• Capture Lessons Learned to promote continuous improvement.

YOUR ROLE

• Develop, maintain, and ensure the implementation of the Project Requirements Management Plan (RMP).
• Establish, coordinate, and monitor the Requirements Management process throughout the project lifecycle.
• Support Engineering Teams in requirements definition, allocation, traceability, baselining, verification, and validation.
• Perform requirements quality reviews to ensure completeness, consistency, clarity, and testability.
• Manage requirements changes and support impact assessments in coordination with Configuration Management.
• Monitor requirements compliance and verification evidence, perform audits, and report Requirements Management KPIs.
• Coordinate requirements-related activities with customers, suppliers, Engineering, Quality, and other project stakeholders.
• Support the administration and maintenance of Requirements Management tools and repositories.
• Identify technical risks and opportunities, support mitigation actions, and ensure compliance with applicable project and quality processes.
• Capture and capitalize on Lessons Learned to promote continuous improvement.

YOUR PROFILE

• University degree in Electrical Engineering, Systems Engineering, or a related engineering field.
• Proven experience in Requirements Management and its application within engineering or complex project environments.
• Experience in Quality Management processes, compliance activities, requirements traceability, and verification and validation.
• Experience in Configuration Management and change control processes is an advantage.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with a structured and customer-oriented approach.
• Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail, with the ability to manage multiple priorities effectively.
• Strong communication, teamwork, and stakeholder management skills in multidisciplinary environments.
• Proficiency in Portuguese and English, both written and spoken.
• Good command of Microsoft Office tools.
