Sovos is building the future of tax compliance software. We are seeking a Software Engineer to develop, deliver, and maintain software solving real problems for customers. You will collaborate across teams, write clean code, and grow expertise in databases, web development, or SAP integration.

Qualificações

• Bachelor's degree in CS/Software Eng or equivalent with 1–3 years in software development.
• Fluency in Portuguese and English is required.
• Experience with relational databases such as MySQL or similar technologies.
• Familiarity with AI-assisted development workflows and comfort using AI tools to support coding, testing, and problem-solving.

Responsabilidades

• Participate actively in the full software development lifecycle, including planning, stand-ups, story refinement, and delivery.
• Develop and maintain software using test-driven development (TDD) and continuous integration (CI) practices, leveraging AI-assisted tools to improve code quality and efficiency.
• Collaborate with Product Managers, Product Owners, Quality Assurance, Experience Design, and other technical teams to refine requirements and deliver solutions from inception through customer delivery.
• Write clean, maintainable code consistent with Sovos coding standards and conventions, building expertise in at least one technical area such as databases, web development, or SAP integration.
• Work alongside senior developers to solve complex problems, improve processes and standards, and maintain relevant documentation as you develop.
