Sovos in Portugal is hiring a Software Engineer II to help build the future of tax compliance software. You will develop and maintain solutions across the software lifecycle, collaborating with cross-functional teams to meet functional and non-functional requirements.

You will work with Node.js/JavaScript, React, and relational databases, while growing expertise across databases, web development, and integration points. This role offers growth in a dynamic compliance-tech environment.

Qualificações

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or related field; 1–3 years of software development experience.
• Fluency in Portuguese and English is required.
• Experience with Node.js/JavaScript and React.

Responsabilidades

• Participate in full software development lifecycle from planning to delivery.
• Develop and maintain software using TDD and CI practices, leveraging AI-assisted tools.
• Collaborate with product and QA teams to refine requirements and deliver solutions.
