Job summary

PagerDuty, Inc. is seeking a Software Engineer to join the Integrations Team to build backend applications, APIs, webhooks and services that connect PagerDuty to the tools customers rely on.

The role spans multiple languages and platforms, with AI at the core of development. You will design, code, test, and ship reliable integrations while collaborating with engineers across teams and handling on-call duties as needed.

Qualifications

Minimum of 4 years designing, building, and operating large, scalable systems.
Experience building and operating customer-facing, web-based products.
Proficiency in at least one modern language (Java, Ruby, Elixir) and with AI coding tools.
Eagerness to learn new technologies and unfamiliar languages quickly.

Responsibilities

Design, code, test and ship backend apps, microservices, APIs, webhooks, and front-end interfaces for reliable, scalable integrations.
Collaborate across teams of engineers.
Solve challenging technical problems for 20,000+ customers as the product scales.
Participate in on-call rotation and triage production issues.
