PagerDuty, Inc. is seeking a Software Engineer to join our Integrations team in a hybrid Lisbon-based role. You will design, build, and operate backend services, APIs, and integrations across languages and platforms, contributing to AI-powered digital operations.

You will work with cross-functional teams, tackle scalable system challenges, and participate in on-call rotations to ensure reliable delivery for PagerDuty’s diverse 20,000+ customers.

Formación

• Minimum of 4 years of experience designing, building, and operating large systems with scalability, availability, and performance requirements.
• Experience building and operating customer-facing, web-based products.
• Demonstrated experience with at least one modern programming language (e.g., Java, Ruby, or Elixir) and with AI coding tools.
• Eagerness to learn new technologies and pick up unfamiliar languages quickly.

Responsabilidades

• From day one, design, code, test and ship backend applications and microservices, APIs, webhooks, and front-end interfaces for reliable, scalable integrations.
• Collaborate closely with engineers across teams.
• Participate in the team’s on-call rotation and address production issues as they arise.
