We Are META in Porto, Portugal is seeking a SOC Analyst to join our team. You will monitor security events, analyse incidents, and protect client networks across LAN/WAN, TCP/IP, DNS and MPLS.

The ideal candidate has 4+ years in a SOC or similar, experience with DarkTrace, CrowdStrike or GuardDuty, and is fluent in English (B2). Hybrid work in Porto with 3 days on-site per week is available.

Qualificações

• Experience with security monitoring tools (DarkTrace, CrowdStrike, GuardDuty).
• Strong knowledge of LAN/WAN, TCP/IP, DNS, MPLS.
• Able to manage tickets and SLAs.
• Team player, proactive and quick learner.
• Available for 24/7 shift and hybrid Porto (onsite 3 days/wk).
• Fluent English (B2) and eligible to work in Portugal.

For this position, the perfect Rhino should have the following skills:

• 4+ years of experience working in a Security Operations Center (SOC), or equivalent technical training, monitoring, analysing and protecting systems against cyber-attacks, malware, data threats and other security incidents.
• Knowledge of security monitoring tools such as DarkTrace, CrowdStrike, GuardDuty, or equivalent.
• Solid knowledge of network infrastructures (LAN/WAN) and network technologies, including TCP/IP, DNS/NTP, routing protocols (OSPF, BGP), and MPLS.
• Ability to handle, track, review, and prioritise tickets and tasks in accordance with SLAs.
• Strong team-player mindset, with the ability to proactively identify, own, and escalates issues that could impact service delivery.
• Willingness and ability to quickly learn new security and network technologies, often without formal training.
• Availability to work in a 24/7 shift system, covering market operational hours.
• Fluency in English (B2).
• Availability for hybrid work based in Porto (3 days on-site per week), candidates should already be based in Portugal, with Portuguese or EU citizenship, or a valid work permit.
