We Are META in Porto is seeking a Network Security Automation Engineer to join our hybrid team. You will design and implement automation for network infrastructure, focusing on Netconf/REST APIs and observability, with a strong emphasis on Python tooling.

The role requires 5+ years in network automation, Bash scripting, YAML/JSON, and experience with CI/CD pipelines. Fluency in English (B2) is expected, with Portugal-based candidates eligible for on-site 3 days/week.

For this position, the perfect Rhino should have the following skills:

• 5+ years of experience in network automation, with strong proficiency in Python (Netmiko, NAPALM, PyEZ, Nornir), Bash/Shell scripting, YAML/JSON, Ansible, and Jinja2 templating.
• Experience with Git version control and CI/CD tools (Jenkins, GitLab CI, GitHub Actions).
• Knowledge of network management protocols and interfaces: Netconf, Restconf, gNMI, gNOI, and vendor-specific REST APIs.
• Experience with monitoring and observability tools: SNMP, NetFlow/sFlow, GraphQL, streaming telemetry, and log analysis/correlation.
• Experience in Linux system administration (Red Hat Linux), including shell scripting, system configuration, performance tuning, and automation integration.
• Fluency in English (B2).
• Availability for hybrid work based in Porto (3 days on-site per week), candidates should already be based in Portugal, with Portuguese or EU citizenship, or a valid work permit.
