We Are META is seeking an experienced Application Support specialist to join our Rhino network in Lisbon. You will administer and optimize Java apps on RedHat JBoss EAP, troubleshoot production issues, and strengthen observability using Dynatrace, Jaeger, Grafana, Prometheus, and ELK.

The role requires 6 years in Application Support, strong Linux (RHEL) skills, and automation with Ansible or Terraform. English and Portuguese fluency (C1) is essential; hybrid work in Lisbon is offered.

Qualificações

• 6 years of experience as an Application Support.
• Expert-level admin and performance tuning of Java application servers (RedHat JBoss EAP).
• Deep knowledge of RHEL Linux, configuration management, and automation with Ansible/Terraform.
• Observability stack expertise: Dynatrace, Jaeger, Grafana, Prometheus, ELK.

For this position, the perfect Rhino should have the following skills:

• 6 years of experience as an Application Support
• Expert-level administration and performance tuning of Java application servers, specifically RedHat JBoss EAP, including heap dump and thread dump analysis to diagnose and resolve production issues.
• Deep operational knowledge of RHEL Linux for system-level troubleshooting, configuration management, and infrastructure automation using Ansible and/or Terraform.
• Expertise implementing and optimizing observability stacks using Dynatrace, Jaeger, Grafana, Prometheus, and ELK to enable proactive detection and resolution of application performance issues.
• Fluency in English and Portuguese, at least C1 level
• Availability for Hybrid model, 2-3 times a week based in Lisbon
• Based in Portugal with Portuguese or EU citizenship, or a valid work permit
