Mystic Cruises seeks a Crew Administrator to join its Seagoing HR team in Porto, Portugal. This shore-based role focuses on payroll, contracts, and compliance for crew members working on yearly contracts.

Ideal candidates have experience as Assistant Purser or Crew Administrator in cruise or maritime HR, with MXP knowledge, strong Excel skills, and English communication. Based in Porto or willing to relocate, you will support payroll processes and crew documentation with confidentiality.

Qualifications

• Experience as Assistant Purser or Crew Administrator in maritime sector.
• Knowledge of MXP, crew payroll and crew documentation.
• Understanding of maritime employment requirements (MLC, STCW and CBAs).
• Strong Excel skills and ability to generate data reports.
• Professional English communication and discretion with confidential data.

Responsabilités

• Support monthly crew payroll processing and cover during payroll lead's absence.
• Prepare timesheets and vacation reports for yearly contracts.
• Verify crew reimbursement requests against company policies.
• Assist in revisions of the Collective Bargaining Agreement (CBA) with internal and external stakeholders.
• Coordinate twice-yearly contract renewals for yearly contract holders.
• Conduct spot checks of vessel crew documentation for compliance with maritime requirements.
• Perform annual audits of crew records to support licence renewals and external audits.
• Manage crew registrations and departures with Portuguese Social Security.
• Prepare and distribute weekly crew movement schedules with the crewing team and vessel agents.
