AgileEngine is building a strategic Shopify practice from Braga, Portugal, to lead e-commerce initiatives for Fortune 500 clients and top products companies. You will guide technical leadership, mentor teams, and collaborate with sales on pre‑sales calls while driving Shopify-centered growth in a remote-first environment.

The role focuses on transforming business goals into scalable technical roadmaps, optimizing conversions, and staying current with headless Shopify technologies to deliver

Qualificações

• 5+ years of experience in e-commerce leadership or Shopify/Headless platforms.
• Proven track record delivering large-scale e-commerce solutions and conversions.
• Experience leading development teams, code reviews, and mentoring.
• Ability to translate business goals into technical roadmaps and communicate with stakeholders.
• Experience supporting sales conversations, scoping projects, and identifying growth opportunities.

Responsabilidades

• Architect and oversee Shopify stores, applications, and custom integrations end-to-end.
• Drive scalable, secure solutions and establish coding standards.
• Lead prototype engagements, set best practices, and mentor developers.
• Translate client goals into prioritized technical roadmaps for delivery.
• Provide guidance on conversion optimization, UX/UI, and CRO best practices.
• Engage in discovery calls, scope projects, and identify upsell opportunities.
• Collaborate with designers, product managers, and marketers to align tech with business goals.
• Stay updated on Shopify, headless frameworks, and third-party integrations.
