Volkswagen Group Digital Solutions [Portugal] seeks an experienced ServiceNow professional to join our Platform Team. You will administer, configure, and extend the ServiceNow platform, implementing automation, integrations, and governance across multiple instances.

You will collaborate with stakeholders to translate business needs into scalable solutions, while ensuring performance, security, and documentation are maintained.

Qualificações

• Degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or similar experience.
• Minimum 3 years of hands-on experience as a ServiceNow Administrator, Developer, or Platform Engineer.
• Strong experience with ServiceNow configuration, customization, and scripting (JavaScript, GlideRecord, Business Rules, Client Scripts).
• Experience with workflows, Flow Designer, automation, and ServiceNow platform features.
• Good knowledge of web technologies (JavaScript, HTML, CSS) and APIs (REST/SOAP).
• Understanding of platform architecture, data model, and security concepts (ACLs, roles).
• Experience with integrations (IntegrationHub, MID Server, external systems).
• Familiarity with DevOps practices, CI/CD, and version control (Git).
• Strong analytical skills and a solution-oriented mindset.

• Monitoring platform health, usage, and overall compliance across applications.
• Managing update sets, deployments, and environment activities across instances.
• Troubleshooting platform, integration, and workflow issues and ensuring timely resolution.
• Maintaining technical documentation and operational manuals.
• Contributing to platform governance, quality assurance, and continuous improvement initiatives.

You’ll Be Focused In

In Order To Succeed, You'll Need

• Good written and spoken English.

Nice To Have

• Experience with ServiceNow Automated Test Framework, Performance Analytics, or Service Portal/UI Builder
• Knowledge of CMDB, Discovery, Service Mapping, or ITOM;
• Exposure to AI capabilities within ServiceNow (Virtual Agent, Predictive Intelligence, GenAI);
• CSA – Certified System Administrator
• CAD – Certified Application Developer
• CIS – Certified Implementation Specialist

The platform enables the implementation of key modules (e.g., IT Service Management, Asset Management, and Project & Portfolio Management), improving employee and user experience and transforming the way work is done.
