Volkswagen Group Digital Solutions [Portugal] is seeking an experienced SAP SD/MM Consultant to lead advisory efforts and align SAP solutions with business needs. You will guide projects through all lifecycle phases, from kickoff to handover, ensuring best practices and compliant delivery.

The role requires strong SAP knowledge, project experience, and fluent Business English in a dynamic, remote-friendly environment.

Qualificações

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or comparable work experience.
• Experience as an SD/MM Consultant or SAP advisory role.
• Expert knowledge in SAP/S4 HANA and ECC releases.
• Strong advisory experience for SAP users and ability to recommend best system approaches and customizing options.
• Experience conducting SAP projects and aligning technical solutions with development teams.
• Fluent Business English, both written and spoken.

Responsabilidades

• Build and maintain system landscapes for implementation and rollout across phases.
• Create migration plans and data loads, including data load tests and production loads.
• Design legacy system changes and environments for rollout.
• Guide the project through all phases: kickoff, fit-gap, requirements, testing, Go‑Live, and handover.
• Document technical approaches, system changes, and handover processes for compliance.

You’ll Be Focused On

• Building and maintaining system landscapes for implementation and rollout, ensuring readiness for all phases.
• Creating migration plans and preparing data load activities, including conduction of data load tests and execution of production data loads.
• Designing legacy system changes (excluding ERP) and system environments for implementation and rollout.
• Guiding the project through all phases, including:
• Kick-off Preparation Phase and Kickoff
• Fit-Gap Analysis
• Production Requirements Specification
• Integration Testing and User Acceptance Testing (UAT)
• Go-Live preparation, execution, and stabilization (after Go-Live support)
• Hand-over to AMS Volkswagen until SOO and finalization between SOO and PA
• Documenting technical approaches, system changes, and handover processes to ensure smooth transition and compliance.

The Parts4.0 team drives the digital backbone of the After Sales supply chain, ensuring standardized, end‑to‑end part processes in SAP. By integrating innovative SAP solutions, the team enables faster, more agile, and flexible responses to operational demands. Their work supports the overall strategy of accelerating digital transformation and building a future‑ready After Sales ecosystem.

In Order To Succeed, You’ll Need

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or comparable work experience.
• Proven experience working as a SD/MM Consultant or in a similar SAP advisory role.
• Expert knowledge in SAP/S4 HANA and ECC releases.
• Strong advisory experience for SAP users and ability to recommend best system approaches and customizing options.
• Experience in conducting SAP projects and aligning technical solutions with development teams.
• Fluent Business English, both written and spoken.

Nice To Have

• SAP Advisor Certificate.
• Experience with FI Module
• Familiarity with agile methodologies and rollout planning.
