Job summary

Volkswagen Group Digital Solutions [Portugal] seeks an experienced BI professional to design, develop and maintain SAP BW-based BI solutions within the SAP data and analytics landscape. You will translate business needs into scalable BI solutions, build data models, data flows and ETL processes in SAP BW, and contribute to modern cloud initiatives with SAP Datasphere and SAP Analytics Cloud.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in computer science, software engineering, information systems, or comparable professional experience.
• Around 3–6 years of professional experience with SAP BW, preferably SAP BW on HANA or BW/4HANA.
• Hands-on experience designing and implementing data models, data flows, transformations, and ETL processes in SAP BW.
• Experience integrating SAP source systems, such as SAP ERP or SAP S/4HANA, into BI solutions.
• Ability to understand business needs and translate them into technical solutions.
• Working knowledge of ABAP, SQL, or other relevant technologies used in data modelling and transformation.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with the ability to investigate issues independently.
• Good communication skills and professional proficiency in English.
• Proactive and collaborative mindset, willingness to take initiative, share knowledge, and continuously learn.
• Genuine motivation to develop toward SAP Datasphere, SAP Analytics Cloud, and the future SAP data landscape.

• Exposure to SAP Integrated Planning, BPC, or other planning solutions.
• Understanding of roles and authorisations within SAP BW, Datasphere, or SAC.
• Experience working in cross‑functional, agile, or international teams.
