Nordex Group is seeking a technically skilled candidate for on-site turbine maintenance in Portugal. You will perform maintenance, troubleshoot issues, and coordinate with service teams to ensure safe turbine operation.

Ideal candidates have electrical or mechanical training, are willing to travel regularly (including nights away from home), and possess good English. The role emphasizes safety, teamwork, and hands-on problem solving in a high-altitude setting.

Qualificações

• Electrical and/or mechanical education.
• Experience with hydraulic, electrical, or mechanical systems valued but not mandatory.
• Teamwork and willingness to take responsibility.
• Willingness to travel regularly, including nights away from home.
• Computer literacy with MS Office and in-house systems.
• Readiness for training.
• Able to work at heights and climb turbines daily.
• Good English language skills (read, write, speak).

Responsabilidades

• Keep all health & safety instructions and guidelines.
• Work safely with materials and personnel.
• Analyse defects via phone with Service Coordinator.
• Autonomously perform simple repairs of turbines, troubleshooting and faultfinding.
• Carry out planned maintenance/inspection activities with subcontractors.
• Fill in reports and checklists to inform Local Operation Manager.
• Check inventory of spare parts and manage site materials.
• Monitor booked service reports and guide service processes for accurate expenses.

YOUR TASKS

• Keep all health & safety related instructions and guidelines
• Work safely for material and personnel
• Analyse defects with phone-contact to Service Coordinator.
• Autonomously simple repairs of turbines, troubleshooting and faultfinding.
• Carry out planned maintenance-/inspection-activities with subcontractors.
• Fill in reports and checklists in order to completely inform Local Operation Manager.
• Check inventory of spare parts stock and be responsible for material on site.
• Standard monitoring of booked service reports and steering of service process to book expenses correctly

YOUR PROFILE

• Electrical and/or mechanical education.
• Experience with hydraulic, electrical, or mechanical systems is valued, but it´s not mandatory.
• Teamwork, collaboration and willingness to take over responsibility.
• Willing to travel on regular basis, including nights away from home.
• Computer literate, able to use MS Office and in house database and workload management systems.
• Readiness for training.
• Able to work in high altitudes and to climb everyday some of our turbine.
• Good English language skills (read, write and speak fluently).
