Nordex SE is seeking field service technicians for on-site work in the wind energy sector. The role involves autonomously repairing turbines, faultfinding, and coordinating with service teams to ensure smooth maintenance and safety compliance.

The position requires electrical and/or mechanical education, willingness to travel regularly, ability to climb turbines, and strong English communication. Collaboration and training readiness are essential to support our growing global operations.

Responsabilidades

• Carry out autonomous repairs of turbines, troubleshooting and faultfinding.
• Analyse defects with phone-contact to Service Coordinator.
• Carry out planned maintenance/inspection activities with subcontractors.
• Fill in reports and checklists for Local Operation Manager.
• Check inventory of spare parts stock and manage on-site material.
• Standard monitoring of booked service reports and booking expenses.

YOUR TASKS

• Keep all health & safety related instructions and guidelines
• Work safely for material and personnel
• Analyse defects with phone-contact to Service Coordinator.
• Autonomously simple repairs of turbines, troubleshooting and faultfinding.
• Carry out planned maintenance-/inspection-activities with subcontractors.
• Fill in reports and checklists in order to completely inform Local Operation Manager.
• Check inventory of spare parts stock and be responsible for material on site.
• Standard monitoring of booked service reports and steering of service process to book expenses correctly
  

YOUR PROFILE

• Electrical and/or mechanical education.
• Experience with hydraulic, electrical, or mechanical systems is valued, but it´s not mandatory.
• Teamwork, collaboration and willingness to take over responsibility.
• Willing to travel on regular basis, including nights away from home.
• Computer literate, able to use MS Office and in house database and workload management systems.
• Readiness for training.
• Able to work in high altitudes and to climb everyday some of our turbine.
• Good English language skills (read, write and speak fluently).
