Nordex Group in Porto, Portugal, is seeking a field-ready technician with electronics/mechatronics background to support wind turbine installations. You will ensure safety, quality, and timely execution on site, guiding subcontractors and coordinating inspections during assembly and commissioning.

The role requires wind turbine experience, crane/bolting knowledge, problem-solving skills, and willingness to travel. English proficiency and readiness for site heights are essential.

Qualificações

• Completed vocational training or university degree in Electronics /Mechatronics or similar field.
• 2 years of experience working with Wind Turbines.
• proficient with crane and bolting technology.
• Good Project Management Skills and ability to coordinate tasks.
• MS Office proficiency and good English language skills.
• Willingness to travel and work at heights.

Responsabilidades

• Fulfillment and respect of the HSE requirement at site and to intervene should the requirements not be respected nor fulfilled.
• Quantity and quality of the mechanical work in accordance with the related instructions.
• Timely completion of the work.
• Give guidance to the subcontracted parties involved in installation and finishing.
• Initiate corrective actions to eliminate defects by the subcontractor.
• Control correctness and completeness of site related reports.
• Collect and forward technical specifications.
• Report the status of the site activities.
• Execute quality checks on site and report findings.
• Active participation at the site meetings (toolbox talks).
• Notify defective or missing parts to the site manager for replacement.

YOUR PROFILE

• Completed vocational training or university degree in Electronics /Mechatronics or similar field
• 2 years of experience in working with Wind Turbines
• Profound knowledge and proven experience with regards to work with crane and industrial bolting technology
• Good Project Management Skills
• Good computer skills are required, especially MS Office
• Good English language skills
• Used to work at heights
• Clear judgment and result focused
• Resilience and ability to solve problems
• Readiness for training
• Willingness to travel without restrictions
• International car driving license
