Nordex Group in Portugal seeks a site technician for wind turbine projects, focused on safety and quality during installation. You will oversee mechanical work on site and guide subcontractors to deliver high-quality results.

The role requires electronics/mechatronics training, 2 years of wind turbine experience, ability to work at heights, travel flexibility, and MS Office proficiency. An international driving license is required.

Qualificações

• 2 years of wind turbine experience.
• Vocational training or university degree in Electronics/Mechatronics or similar field.
• Experience with crane and bolting technology.

Responsabilidades

• Fulfillment and respect of the HSE requirements at site and intervene if not respected or fulfilled.
• Quality and quantity of the mechanical work per instructions.
• Timely completion of the work.
• Guide subcontractors involved in installation and finishing.
• Initiate corrective actions aimed to eliminate defects and to be executed by the subcontractor.
• Control accuracy and completeness of site reports.
• Collect and forward technical specifications.
• Report the status of site activities.
• Execute on-site quality checks and report.
• Active participation at toolbox talks and site meetings.
• Notify defective or missing parts to the site manager for replacement.

YOUR RESPONSIBILITIES

• Fulfillment and respect of the HSE requirement at site and to intervene should the requirements not be respected nor fulfilled
• Quantity and quality of the mechanical work in accordance with the related instructions
• Timely completion of the work
• Give guidance to the subcontracted parties involved in installation and finishing
• Initiate corrective actions aimed to eliminate defects and to be executed by the subcontractor
• Control correctness and completeness of site related reports
• Collect and forward technical specifications
• Report the status of the site activities
• Execute the quality check on site including reporting
• Active participation at the site meeting on site (toolbox talk
• Notificate defective or missing parts to the site manager with the purpose of replacement of these parts
  

YOUR PROFILE

• Completed vocational training or university degree in Electronics /Mechatronics or similar field
• 2 years of experience in working with Wind Turbines
• Profound knowledge and proven experience with regards to work with crane and industrial bolting technology
• Good Project Management Skills
• Good computer skills are required, especially MS Office
• Used to work at heights
• Clear judgment and result focused
• Resilience and ability to solve problems
• Readiness for training
• Willingness to travel without restrictions
• International car driving license
