Responsibilities
- Design, implement, and continuously improve monitoring, alerting, and self‑healing mechanisms for WMS platforms
- Ensure stability, performance, and reliability of production WMS applications by proactively identifying and resolving root causes of incidents
- Collaborate with relevant DSV IT and business departments to deliver business requirements using standard warehouse solutions and identify gaps where enhancements are needed
- Conduct IT Solution Reviews to ensure adherence to coding standards, architectural guidelines, and reuse of existing components
- Implement and promote automated testing, deployment, and validation practices for WMS solutions
- Drive continuous improvement of standard warehouse solutions to enable faster and more predictable rollouts across regional sites
- Contribute to the development of regional and global WMS standards, working closely with global and regional IT teams
- Maintain and enhance WMS and surrounding applications with a strong focus on standardization, code reusability, and clear documentation
- Research and propose innovative solutions to improve productivity, system efficiency, and business value within the WMS domain
- Collaborate with other departments to deliver scalable, secure, and future‑ready WMS capabilities
Requirements
- Minimum 6+ years of professional experience in transportation, logistics, or supply chain‑related IT roles
- Mandatory experience with Warehouse Management solution (Blue Yonder Dispatcher WMS)
- Good knowledge of and experience with relational databases, SQL and PL/SQL
- Knowledge of infrastructure landscapes, proficient in Unix/Linux commands
- Expertise in Shell scripting
- Able to understand, formulate and challenge functional specifications from business
- Superior and practical application/API design and background in programming skills (C# or Java or Python)
- Proven ability to integrate WMS with external application using APIs or Web services
- Demonstrate thoroughness in system design and system testing with a minimum supervision
- Experience in the supply chain domain and project implementation
Nice to have
- Able to set up and maintain pipeline scripts, such as Jenkins/groovy.
- Experience with cloud‑native common platform tools and microservices
- General knowledge of working with different 3rd party SW providers
- Knowledge on systems life cycle, covering functional and technical solution design, architecture
