Senior Turner - Braga, Portugal. A reputable manufacturing company in Braga, Portugal is seeking a highly skilled Senior Turner to join our team. As a Senior Turner, you will be responsible for operating and maintaining various machine tools to produce precision parts and components. The ideal candidate should have a strong background in machining and experience with biometric passport technology.

Key Responsibilities

• Operate and maintain various machine tools such as lathes, grinders, and drills
• Read blueprints, drawings, and specifications to determine the machining operations required
• Set up machines according to instructions and ensure proper alignment of workpiece
• Use precision measuring instruments to check dimensions of finished products
• Troubleshoot and resolve machine malfunctions
• Monitor production process to ensure quality standards are met
• Collaborate with other team members to optimize production processes

Requirements

• Minimum of 5 years experience as a Turner in a manufacturing setting
• Proficient in operating various machine tools including lathes, grinders, and drills
• Strong knowledge of blueprint reading and interpretation
• Experience with biometric passport technology is preferred but not required
• Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail
• Ability to work independently as well as collaboratively with a team
• Biometric passport or willingness to obtain one for international travel

• The salary for this position is $1600 per month. In addition, we provide accommodation for our employees.
