Experienced Turner in Porto, Portugal

We are currently seeking an experienced Turner to join our team in Porto, Portugal. As a Turner, you will be responsible for operating various machines and tools to shape and fabricate metal parts according to specifications. This is a full-time position with accommodation provided.

Responsibilities

• Read and interpret blueprints, technical drawings, and job orders to determine fabrication specifications
• Set up and operate machines such as lathes, grinders, drills, and milling machines to cut, shape, or form metal parts
• Use precision measuring instruments to ensure accuracy of finished products
• Monitor machines during operation and make necessary adjustments to ensure proper functioningInspect finished products for quality and make any necessary repairs or adjustments
• Maintain a clean and safe work environment by following all safety procedures

Requirements

• Minimum of 2 years experience as a Turner or in a similar role
• Proficient in reading and interpreting blueprints and technical drawings
• Strong knowledge of machine operation and maintenance
• Ability to use precision measuring instruments
• Knowledge of safety procedures and protocols in a manufacturing setting
• Biometric passport or ability to obtain one is preferred

Salary

The salary for this position is $1500 per month.
