Junior Turner - Braga, Portugal

We are in search of a highly motivated and eager Junior Turner to join our team in Braga, Portugal. As a Turner, you will be responsible for operating and maintaining various equipment used in the production of metal components. This is an entry-level position, making it perfect for someone without prior experience in the field.

Responsibilities

• Operate turning machinery such as lathes, grinders, and milling machines to shape metal components
• Read and interpret blueprints and technical drawings to ensure accurate production
• Inspect finished products for quality assurance
• Troubleshoot any issues with machinery or tools
• Follow all safety protocols and regulations while working with machinery and handling materials
• Keep work area clean and organized at all times

Requirements

• High school diploma or equivalent
• Technical training or certification in turning preferred but not required
• Basic understanding of metalworking processes and equipment
• Ability to read technical drawings and blueprints
• Strong attention to detail and ability to work independently
• Good physical stamina, as this job requires standing for long periods of time and lifting heavy materials

Salary

Starting salary for this position is 1600$ per month.
