Job summary

ITDS Portugal is seeking a Senior Technical Lead – Software Development in Lisbon with a hybrid work model. You will lead the technical design of complex banking software and drive best practices across the squad, including CI/CD, testing, and documentation.

The role requires 4+ years in software development or technical leadership, strong architecture and integration skills, and excellent English communication. French is a plus. Banking experience and Agile/Scrum exposure are advantageous.

Qualifications

Responsibilities

• Lead the technical design of user stories and features following CAA standards, focusing on non-functional requirements.
• Ensure adherence to best practices within the squad, including peer review, unit test automation, and development standards.
• Cascading the train’s technical architecture and design priorities down to the squad level.
• Specify and validate technical enablers, manage technical debt, and update documentation.
• Oversee integration of components into CI/CD pipelines, ensuring testing and compliance with non-functional requirements.
• Support technical upskilling initiatives within the team, fostering continuous improvement.
• Drive implementation of prioritized technical industrialization actions across the squad.
• Maintain and regularly update the Debt Score for all components relative to Golden Rules.

• Strong knowledge of software architecture, integration, and testing.
• Experience with technical documentation and CI/CD processes.
• Excellent communication skills in English, with French being a plus.

It is a strong plus if you have:

• Experience working within Agile/Scrum environments.
• Familiarity with banking or financial sector software.
• Certifications or practical knowledge related to software architecture or DevOps practices.
