Job summary

Hexa Consulting in Lisbon is seeking a Senior Systems Administrator to manage IT infrastructure, security and optimization in a professional services setting. The role requires hybrid work with three days in the Lisbon office, strong Microsoft cloud skills and experience with security controls.

Responsibilities include administering MS 365, Azure, identity management, network services, backup/disaster recovery, and Azure DevOps. English proficiency is essential for collaboration across teams.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of experience in systems administration, infrastructure operations or similar IT roles.
• Solid experience managing Microsoft cloud and endpoint environments in secure business contexts.
• Ability to work with autonomy, ownership and structured problem‑solving in complex infrastructure scenarios.
• Professional working proficiency in English.

Responsibilities

• Manage users, permissions, devices, access policies and security controls across the IT infrastructure.
• Support network administration, including Wi‑Fi, VPN, firewalls, DNS and DHCP.
• Ensure backup management, service continuity and disaster recovery readiness.
• Monitor infrastructure performance, analyze incidents and coordinate troubleshooting activities.
• Configure and maintain Azure DevOps environments, including projects, users, permissions and pipelines.
• Manage infrastructure documentation and provide technical coordination with external providers.
• Support information security and compliance requirements, including ISO/IEC 27001 and NIS2‑related practices.
