Job summary

Quark- Grupo Sener in Lisbon, Portugal is seeking a Civil Engineer specialized in structures with at least 15 years of experience on single-building projects. You will lead design efforts, develop structural models and oversee external consultants to ensure quality and compliance across international projects.

The role requires fluency in Spanish and English (recent B2), proficiency with Tekla, Robot, and CYPE, and the ability to travel.

Qualifications

• Civil engineer specializing in structures (or equivalent qualification).
• Minimum 15 years' experience in single building projects.
• Practical knowledge of industry-standard software for structural design (Tekla, Robot, CYPE, etc.).
• Fluency in Spanish and English (recent B2).
• Excellent communication, planning, and time management skills.

Responsibilities

• Perform structural analysis for evaluation and optimization during design.
• Develop proprietary structural models, calculations, reports and specifications.
• Coordinate with external consultants and lead design teams.
• Support development of BIM models and plans.
• Coordinate and review contractor documentation.
