Infineon Technologies AG in Porto seeks a Senior Specialist Data Solutions within the Software & Data Science team to transform complex data into actionable insights and enable data-driven decisions across the business. You will design and maintain reporting solutions, build ETL/ELT pipelines from SAP sources, and craft dashboards that communicate clear recommendations to stakeholders.

A strong data mindset, hands-on SQL and Python, and fluency in English are essential to succeed in this role.

Formación

• University degree in IT, engineering, business, finance or equivalent.
• 3+ years in reporting/analytics or programming in a corporate environment.
• Strong BI/reporting and data visualization skills.
• Proficiency in SQL and Python; advanced Excel including VBA.
• Experience with SAP data sources (S/4HANA, BW, CDS) and tools such as Tableau, KNIME and Analysis for Office.
• Fluency in English.

Key responsibilities

• You will turn complex data into actionable insights by developing innovative reporting and analytics solutions that support strategic and regulatory decision-making.
• Design, develop, and maintain reporting solutions and curated datasets for s tandardized and ad ‑ hoc needs (management and regulatory)
• Build and operate automated ETL/ELT pipelines to ingest data from SAP (S/4HANA, BW, CDS), databases , and files
• Translate business requirements into technical specifications , balance competing priorities, and manage delivery timelines
• Build dashboards and visualizations that make insights clear and actionable for stakeholders
• Ability to interpret complex financial data and balancing the need for detailed analysis with the need for high-level insights and recommendations
• Profile and reconcile data, investigate anomalies, and identify drivers of performance using Python or SQL
• Continuously improve reporting processes for speed, accuracy, and regulatory compliance

Qualifications

• A university degree in Information Technology, Engineering, Business, Finance or equivalent field
• At least 3 years of hands-on experience building reporting/analytics solutions or programming in a corporate environment
• Strong BI/reporting and data visualization skills
• Proficiency in SQL and Python ; advanced Excel including VBA
• Experience with SAP data sources (S/4HANA, BW, CDS) and tools such as Tableau, KNIME and Analysis for Office
• Understanding Finance processes (accounting, controlling and Treasury) would be an advantage
• Fluency in English
