AgileEngine seeks a Senior Software Engineer to define agentic-first software. You will design agentic workflows using Java, Spring Boot, React, and AI orchestration, turning experiments into production systems with emphasis on security, reliability, and auditability for enterprise customers.

You will mentor engineers, collaborate with leaders, and build end-to-end agentic products that scale across teams, ensuring meaningful outcomes and robust error handling.

Qualificações

• 5+ years in a software product development environment.
• Strong proficiency with Java and Spring Boot.
• Strong proficiency with JavaScript and React.
• Strong proficiency with Relational Databases.
• Hands-on experience with AI agents, tool-using LLM apps, or orchestrated workflows.
• Experience with multi-agent systems, RAG, vector search, agent evaluation, or human-in-the-loop workflows.
• Proven ability to use AI coding agents as productive engineering collaborators.
• Ability to provide agents with context, constraints, architecture, acceptance criteria, and direction.
• Strong judgment in testing, securing, and improving agent-generated code.

Responsabilidades

• Design and build agentic workflows coordinating tools, services, data, and human approvals.
• Develop reusable patterns for agent orchestration, tool use, context management, and collaboration.
• Use agentic coding tools across planning, implementation, testing, debugging, and documentation.
• Integrate agents into development, testing, deployment, support, and operations.
• Establish standards for agent evaluation, observability, reliability, security, and governance.
• Prototype new agentic capabilities and turn experiments into production systems.
• Build complete, usable products, not just demonstrations.
• Identify opportunities to improve engineering productivity and delivery via agentic development.
• Mentor engineers and shape a director-level agentic strategy.
• Collaborate with product and engineering leaders to connect agentic capabilities to outcomes.
• Design agentic apps around real user needs with robust UX, permissions, audit trails, and clear error handling.
• Move agentic solutions from prototype to production addressing performance, scalability, and maintenance.
