AgileEngine is seeking a Product Architect to own the technical direction across our product portfolio. You will design scalable architectures, guide feature implementation, and uphold engineering best practices across the codebase, partnering with Product Management to translate requirements into practical designs.

You will drive architectural decisions, evaluate new AI-assisted development tools, and mentor engineers.

Qualificações

• Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field.
• 6+ years of software engineering experience with at least 2 years in an architectural or leadership role.
• Strong background with software testing products, including TestRail.
• Proficiency in PHP, MySQL, and JavaScript; familiarity with frameworks, cloud platforms, or additional languages.
• Solid understanding of software architecture patterns, system design, and API-driven development.
• Experience with AI-assisted development practices and curiosity about applying AI to software quality.

Responsabilidades

• Develop deep understanding of the product codebase through hands-on exploration.
• Design scalable, maintainable software architectures that meet current and future requirements.
• Assess and shepherd technical delivery to adhere to best practices and architecture standards.
• Drive continual improvement of development processes, tooling, and workflows.
• Collaborate with Product Management and stakeholders on roadmaps, requirements, and releases.
• Identify gaps in the end-user experience and propose practical solutions.
• Estimate development efforts, propose alternatives, and prioritize tasks.
• Provide hands-on development support for escalated customer issues and diagnose complex problems.
