Job summary

Arcesium is seeking a Senior Site Reliability Engineer (SRE) to join the Platform Site Reliability Engineering (PSRE) team in Lisbon. You will ensure stability, reliability, and availability of mission-critical production applications on the Arcesium platform.

You will lead incident management, monitor system health, troubleshoot complex issues, and collaborate with engineering and operations to improve resilience. Fluency in English and legal right to work in Portugal are required.

Qualifications

2+ years of experience in Site Reliability Engineering, DevOps, or Production Engineering.
Incident management expertise including triaging and resolving outages.
Proficiency in Python or Java for automation and debugging.
Hands-on experience with Kubernetes (K8s).
Cloud experience (AWS preferred) with EC2, S3, Lambda, CloudWatch.
Excellent communication skills; able to articulate complex issues clearly.
Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving abilities across stack layers.
Fluency in English (spoken and written) and legal right to work in the country.

Responsibilities

Lead incidents during platform outages; own incident response and communications.
Continuously monitor health and performance; analyze trends to prevent incidents.
Troubleshoot issues across application, infrastructure, and network layers.
Collaborate with engineering and operations; provide clear status updates.
Identify opportunities to automate tasks and improve reliability.
Contribute to evolving SRE practices, tooling, and processes.
