Job summary

KCS IT in Lisbon, Portugal, is seeking an amazing SRE with 5+ years of experience to join our fully remote team from Portugal. You will manage production environments in the cloud, focusing on Azure, identity management, and security tooling, while collaborating across client projects and internal squads.

The ideal candidate has hands-on Terraform and Ansible, Kubernetes / AKS, and experience with GitLab CI/CD, observability stacks, and Jira Service Management.

Qualifications

• Senior-level SRE/DevOps with 5+ years in production cloud environments.
• Strong autonomy, critical thinking and cross-functional collaboration.
• Fluency in English and Portuguese (B2) mandatory.
• Experience with Terraform and Ansible for infrastructure automation.
• Experience with Kubernetes / AKS and CI/CD with GitLab.

Responsibilities

• Manage production cloud environments and ensure reliability.
• Implement security controls and identity management.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams on client projects and internal squads.
• Maintain observability stacks and incident response.
