Mid Site Reliability Engineer (SRE) @Porto

We are looking for an Amazing: Mid Site Reliability Engineer (SRE)

Seniority: +3 years

Type of position: Hybrid (2x/week in Porto)

The amazing you will have:

• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a related field;
• More than 3 years of experience in Application Support (SRE - Site Reliability Engineering);
• Analytical mindset to investigate errors and problems;
• Ability in Operationalizing Microservices;
• Knowledge of technologies: Shell, ELK, Prometheus, Grafana, AWS, Kafka, DBs (Postgres, MySQL);
• Knowledge of collaborative platforms (Jira, Confluence, GitLab);
• Ability to understand different systems and their functionalities;
• Proactivity in validating logs and metrics to detect potential problems;
• Proactivity in suggesting improvements to logging systems, metrics, and alarms;
• Able to adapt communication to various stakeholders;
• Able to understand non-technical customers;
• Retail experience/knowledge is a plus;
• Availability to perform on-call prevention.
