Decskill is growing and looking for a Senior Scrum Master / Agile Coach to help engineering and product teams unlock value across Lisbon, Porto and Madrid. You will coach teams to become autonomous, collaborative and outcomes-focused while removing blockers and promoting a culture of continuous improvement.

Qualifications

• Proven experience as Senior Scrum Master, Agile Coach or Team Coach.

We’re looking for an experienced Senior Scrum Master / Agile Coach who knows that high-performing teams are not built by running ceremonies - they are built through trust, ownership, accountability, effective collaboration and continuous improvement.

This is a role for someone who can challenge the status quo, coach teams and leaders, remove systemic impediments, and create the conditions for engineering and product teams to consistently deliver meaningful outcomes.

Your Mission:

You will help teams become more autonomous, collaborative, resilient and outcome-oriented.

You will be responsible for:

• Strengthening team ownership, accountability and self-organisation
• Building trust, psychological safety and healthy feedback cultures
• Improving collaboration between Product, Engineering and Business
• Increasing transparency, focus and outcome orientation
• Introducing meaningful metrics to measure team effectiveness and business value
• Identifying and removing delivery and organisational impediments
• Creating sustainable mechanisms for continuous improvement
• Helping teams navigate change, complexity and organisational dependencies

What You’ll Do:

Team Coaching & Facilitation:

• Coach teams on Agile principles, collaboration and continuous improvement
• Facilitate retrospectives, planning sessions, reviews, workshops and alignment sessions
• Establish effective working agreements and decision-making practices
• Help teams resolve conflicts and navigate organisational change
• Foster psychological safety and encourage diverse perspectives
• Strengthen team cohesion across locations, cultures and time zones

Delivery & Ways of Working:

• Shift the focus from output to outcomes, customer value and measurable objectives
• Identify and address delivery bottlenecks
• Improve planning, prioritisation and forecasting
• Increase transparency around goals, risks, dependencies and progress
• Encourage experimentation, learning and continuous improvement

Beyond the Team:

• Coach across teams and organisational boundaries
• Facilitate cross-team alignment and improvement initiatives
• Partner with leaders and stakeholders to create environments where teams can succeed
• Act as a trusted advisor on Agile, team effectiveness and organisational development
• Contribute to internal coaching communities and knowledge sharing

What You Bring:

• Proven experience as a Senior Scrum Master, Agile Coach or Team Coach
• Strong track record of improving team effectiveness in complex environments
• Experience working with Product and Engineering teams
• Experience supporting distributed, multi-location and multicultural teams
• Exceptional coaching, facilitation and stakeholder-management skills
