Findmore Consulting S.A. in Portugal seeks a Senior DevOps/Platform Engineer to design, automate, and scale our infrastructure across AWS, Kubernetes, Kafka, and data platforms. You will own IaC modules, CI/CD pipelines, and support lambda-based APIs while mentoring the team.

You will work closely with platform teams to improve automation, resilience, and performance, applying Terraspace, Terraform, Docker, and Helm practices to deliver robust cloud-native solutions.

Qualificações

• Senior level DevOps with platform engineering or data engineering background.
• Strong AWS experience covering EC2, S3, RDS, VPC, IAM, CloudWatch.
• In-depth Terraform and Terraspace knowledge.
• Proficient with Kubernetes, Docker, Ansible and Helm.

Responsabilidades

• Extend, maintain, and evolve the platform codebase without breaking existing systems.
• Design and maintain IaC modules using Terraspace and Terraform.
• Own and maintain GitLab CI/CD pipelines across stacks.
• Extend automation to support new platform components and capabilities.
• Develop Python-based containerized Kafka consumers on AWS ECS Fargate.

Main Tasks & Responsibilities:

• Extend, maintain, and evolve the existing platform codebase, ensuring changes do not impact the integrity of the existing environment
• Design, implement, and maintain Infrastructure as Code modules using Terraspace and Terraform
• Own and maintain GitLab CI/CD pipeline definitions across the platform stacks
• Extend pipeline automation to support new platform components and capabilities
• Develop, maintain, and extend Python-based containerized Kafka consumer services running on AWS ECS Fargate
• Develop and maintain AWS Lambda REST APIs
• Extend Kafka and Confluent Cloud automation using Terraform providers
• Implement new Kafka source and sink connector types through custom Docker images and Helm-based deployments
• Support platform automation across AWS, Kubernetes, Kafka, and related technologies
• Act as architectural backup for the Lead Developer
• Perform code reviews for infrastructure, automation, and platform changes
• Ensure coding conventions and platform standards are consistently followed
• Assess cross-component dependencies and implications when implementing platform changes

Requirements:

• Senior-level DevOps experience, preferably in platform engineering or data engineering environments
• Strong AWS expertise, including EC2, S3, RDS, VPC, IAM, and CloudWatch
• Strong Infrastructure as Code experience with Terraspace and Terraform
• Experience with Kubernetes, Docker, Ansible, and Helm
• Experience using cloud APIs to automate provisioning, deployments, infrastructure scaling, and performance improvements
• Programming and scripting skills with Python and/or Bash/Zsh
• Experience with CI/CD platforms such as GitLab CI, Jenkins, GitHub Actions, or similar
• Strong knowledge of Git workflows, branching strategies, and pipeline management
• Experience with Kafka cluster management and operations
• Knowledge of AVRO schemas and Schema Registry
• Experience implementing AWS Lambda and/or AWS ECS Fargate architectures
• Strong understanding of platform automation and infrastructure engineering

Nice to Have:

• AWS certifications
• Experience with data platform infrastructure and database operations
• Knowledge of relational and non-relational databases, SQL, JSON, and XML
• Experience with data catalog or metadata management tools
• Understanding of data contract standards such as ODCS or similar

• Availability to work in EU.
