Genesis Digital Solutions in Braga is seeking a Cloud Platform Engineer to design, automate, and maintain secure, scalable AWS-based cloud platforms. You will work across the AWS CI/CD ecosystem, implement Infrastructure as Code, and optimize cloud costs.

You will develop pipelines with CodeCommit, CodePipeline, CodeBuild, and CodeDeploy, use AWS CDK and CloudFormation, and apply DevSecOps practices to improve reliability and security.

Qualificações

• Must have hands-on experience with AWS services and DevSecOps practices.
• Strong CI/CD experience across AWS ecosystem.
• Proficient in Python and/or TypeScript; proficient in Shell/Bash.

Join our client’s team as a Cloud Platform Engineer and help design, automate, and maintain secure and scalable cloud platforms on AWS. As an AWS DevSecOps Engineer, you’ll work across the AWS CI/CD ecosystem, Infrastructure as Code, automation, and cloud cost optimization, contributing to reliable and efficient cloud‑native environments.

What You’ll Work On

• Design, implement, and maintain CI/CD pipelines across the AWS ecosystem.
  
• Work with AWS CodeCommit, CodePipeline, CodeBuild, and CodeDeploy to automate software delivery.
  
• Develop and manage Infrastructure as Code using AWS CDK and CloudFormation.
  
• Design and implement workflow orchestration using AWS Step Functions.
  
• Automate cloud platform operations and deployment processes using Python, TypeScript, and Shell/Bash.
  
• Contribute to secure and scalable DevSecOps practices across AWS environments.
  
• Improve the reliability, efficiency, and automation of cloud infrastructure and delivery processes.
  
• Monitor and optimize cloud resource usage and contribute to FinOps initiatives.
  
• Collaborate with development and infrastructure teams to establish efficient and standardized engineering practices.
  

What We’re Looking For

• Mid/Senior‑level experience as a Cloud Platform Engineer, DevOps Engineer, or AWS DevSecOps Engineer.
  
• Strong hands‑on experience with AWS cloud services and DevSecOps practices.
  
• Solid knowledge of the AWS CI/CD ecosystem, particularly:
  
• CodeCommit
  
• CodeBuild
  
• CodeDeploy
  
• Hands‑on experience with AWS CDK and CloudFormation for Infrastructure as Code.
  
• Experience with AWS Step Functions and cloud workflow orchestration.
  
• Strong programming/scripting skills in Python and/or TypeScript.
  
• Good knowledge of Shell/Bash scripting.
  
• Understanding of cloud security and DevSecOps principles.
  
• Knowledge of FinOps and cloud cost optimization practices.
  
• Strong problem‑solving skills and a proactive approach to automation and continuous improvement.
  
• Ability to collaborate effectively with development and technical teams.

• Experience with broader AWS security and governance services.
  
• Experience implementing automated security controls within CI/CD pipelines.
  
• Knowledge of containers and Kubernetes.
  
• AWS certifications, particularly in DevOps, Solutions Architecture, or Security.
