Job summary

Unit4 is a cloud-focused ERP software provider seeking a Senior Performance & Optimization Specialist to tune Unit4 Financials by Coda across Go Live and BAU. The role involves proactive monitoring, AI-assisted productivity improvements, and SQL/database tuning to ensure optimal performance.

You will join a small team delivering proactive support before and after go-live while adhering to information security policies and collaborative teamwork. Remote-friendly with occasional visits as needed.

Qualifications

• Good working knowledge of the Unit4 Financials by Coda application (mandatory).
• 5+ years in customer success, performance optimisation.
• Hands on use of AI productivity tools, such as Microsoft Copilot.
• AI enabled productivity improvement and a sharp instinct for spotting automation opportunities.
• Previous experience in a database-centric, web-enabled environment.
• Ability to perform database tuning working with SQL queries, indexes, statistics, database views.
• Understanding of database replication.
• Understanding of web services and extension kit flows.
• Experience of Java based application and Java containers (JBoss, Wildfly).
• Experience implementing systems into SaaS Azure infrastructures.
• Knowledge of TCP/IP and fundamental networking concepts and protocols.

Responsibilities

• Performance tuning of Unit4 Financials by Coda Pre and Post Go Live.
• Troubleshoot performance issues across new implementations (Project) and existing implementations (BAU) of Unit4 Financials by Coda, this includes Technical and Application aspects.
• Develop enhanced, proactive monitoring, detection and remediation of performance issues.
• Develop proactive, continuous performance tuning and processes to maintain optimal performance levels.
• Comply with the Company's information security requirements and all Company business procedures and policies.
