Wire IT in Portugal is seeking a Senior Backend Software Engineer specialized in Node.js to join a fully remote team. You will build scalable services, work with JavaScript/TypeScript, and contribute to cloud-based architectures using AWS, GCP, or Azure.

The ideal candidate has 5+ years in software engineering, strong testing discipline, and experience with REST/GraphQL, SQL/NoSQL, and modern CI/CD practices. Join a growth-focused, collaborative company with an agile mindset.

Qualificações

• 5+ years of work experience in software engineering
• Experience withVanilla JavaScript and/or TypeScript and modern frameworks and platforms such as React and Node.js
• Knowledge inDeveloping performant, resilient, and secure services
• Experience withProtocols and architectural patterns like HTTP, REST, and/or GraphQL
• Creating testable code and making testing a priority
• Familiar withCloud platforms like AWS, GCP or Azure
• SQL and NoSQL data stores
• Code versioning tools like Git in a continuous delivery process
• Code quality tools like linters, type checkers, and static analyses
• Agile methodologies such as Scrum and Kanban
• Integrating/connecting systems like warehouse management & eCommerce
