HumanIT is seeking a Senior Node.js Developer for a fully remote role in Portugal. You will design and implement scalable backend services in TypeScript, collaborating with frontend developers and owning code from development to production, all in an Agile setup.

The role focuses on performance, security, and reliability for cloud-based systems, with emphasis on REST/GraphQL, asynchronous workflows, and strong testing disciplines. English fluency is required.

Qualificações

• Strong TypeScript 5.x skills with typing of asynchronous code.
• Proven backend design for performant, secure services.
• Experience with asynchronous/workflows (queues, streams, pub/sub).
• Deep understanding of HTTP REST and/or GraphQL architectures.
• Testing as a first-class practice: Jest or Vitest with coverage.
• Git-based version control within CD processes.
• Able to work autonomously toward shared goals.
• Fluent English, written and spoken.

Responsabilidades

• Own code from development through deployment, monitoring and production troubleshooting.
