Jobgether is partnering with a fast-growing engineering team to hire a Senior Back-end Engineer (PHP/Node.js) in Portugal. You will design and deliver scalable back-end services powering global commerce, with ownership from architecture through deployment.

You will work in a product-focused, remote-first environment across EMEA, collaborating with product managers and cross-functional teams while applying modern patterns like DDD and CQRS, and using AI-assisted development tools.

Qualificações

• 5+ years of professional back-end experience required.
• Proficiency in PHP or Node.js with willingness to master the other.
• Experience with high-load, distributed systems and CQRS.
• Strong understanding of SOLID, TDD, CI/CD, Agile, and automated testing.

Responsabilidades

• Design, develop, test, and deploy high-quality scalable back-end software.
• Contribute to commerce solutions for high-load environments.
• Own technical initiatives from design to delivery.
• Collaborate with product managers and stakeholders to translate business needs into solutions.
• Apply architectural principles (DDD, CQRS, distributed systems).
• Participate in code reviews, testing, debugging, and pair programming.
