HumanIT Digital Consulting is seeking an experienced Tech Lead to guide a Node.js/TypeScript team, balancing leadership with hands-on coding to shape scalable software solutions.

Based in Portugal and eligible for fully remote work, you will mentor engineers, review code, design robust RESTful APIs and microservices, and collaborate with cross-functional teams in an agile environment.

Qualificações

• 5+ years of professional Node.js experience.
• Proficient in JavaScript and TypeScript, with a deep understanding of Node.js.
• Experience building RESTful APIs and microservices.
• Experience with GraphQL.
• Strong knowledge of AWS and/or GCP.
• Experience with version control systems (e.g., Git).
• Strong leadership and communication skills, with experience mentoring and providing technical guidance to developers.
• Excellent problem-solving and debugging skills, including identifying and resolving performance bottlenecks.
• Adherence to best practices, coding standards, and development methodologies.
• Ability to work effectively in a collaborative and agile environment.
• Fluent English (written and spoken) for daily work with international teams.
• Based in Portugal.

Responsabilidades

• Lead and mentor a team of developers, while contributing hands-on in design, development and maintenance.
• Define technical requirements, design scalable architectures and ensure code quality and performance.
• Perform code reviews and guide QA processes; stay updated on Node.js trends and technologies.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to align on architecture decisions and delivery.
• Foster a lean, autonomous, and collaborative engineering culture.
