Job summary

Cloudflare Lisbon is seeking a Customer Engineering Specialist to act as a trusted advisor for customers adopting Cloudflare network services, leading POCs from design to production cutover. You will guide customers through solution design, DDoS protection, WAN integration, and security transformations in hybrid environments including Azure, AWS, and GCP.

The role requires 5+ years in pre-sales or solutions engineering, strong BGP, TCP/IP, and English fluency, with the ability to manage

Qualifications

5+ years in customer engineering, pre-sales, solutions or systems engineering, or technical sales.
Strong knowledge of network routing, BGP, and VPN technologies.
Experience presenting to senior technical leaders and executives.

Responsibilities

Act as a trusted advisor, helping customers choose the right Cloudflare network and security solution for their business needs.
Lead qualified prospects through Solution Design and POC.
Understand the customer's network topology, IP addressing and routing policy; design fitting architectures.
Run technical discovery, demos and workshops in the pre-sales cycle.
Explain benefits of Magic Transit, Cloudflare WAN and Cloudflare One compared with alternatives.
Collaborate with GTM partners to achieve pipeline and revenue goals.
Present network and security transformation messages to senior leaders.
Capture product gaps and feed back to Product and Engineering.
