Decskill, a growing IT consulting firm, seeks a senior C#/.NET leader to steer architecture while staying hands-on in Porto. You’ll guide decisions, promote best practices and ensure scalable Azure-based solutions.

You’ll mentor teams and work with Product, QA, Architects, DBAs and Paris-based teams to deliver value. Ideal candidate has 9+ years in C#/.NET, solid architecture knowledge, and fintech experience is a plus.

Qualificações

• Degree in Engineering, Computer Science, IT or a related field.
• 9+ years of experience with C#/.NET development.
• Proven technical leadership or leading development teams.
• Strong experience with .NET Framework 4.8+ and .NET 8+.
• Knowledge of software architecture, Clean Code, SOLID and TDD.
• Experience with SQL Server / Azure SQL, Git, Gitflow and Azure DevOps.
• Hands-on with Azure services such as Azure Pipelines, Repos, Blob Storage, App Service and App Configuration.
• Experience with Jira and Confluence.
• Banking, payments or fintech experience is a strong plus.
• Portuguese: B2 minimum – nice to have.

Responsabilidades

• Provide technical leadership while remaining hands-on with development.
• Drive architecture, design and implementation decisions.
• Support the Azure cloud transition and application lifecycle evolution.
• Promote engineering best practices including Clean Code, SOLID, TDD, automation, scalability and reliability.
• Lead technical reviews and troubleshoot complex production issues.
• Identify and manage technical debt and technical risks.
• Mentor developers and encourage knowledge sharing.
• Collaborate closely with Product, QA, Architects, DBAs and teams in Paris.
• Play a key role in Collect.Online data migration.
• Help prepare both applications for their future support and decommissioning phases.
