Job summary

Ivy Partners in Portugal seeks a Senior Backend Developer .NET to design, build, and maintain scalable backend applications using .NET Core and C#. You will develop RESTful APIs, work with microservices, and ensure code quality and security.

You'll collaborate with product teams, manage production incidents, contribute to RCA, and support CI/CD pipelines with Azure DevOps and GitHub, playing a key role in our engineering excellence.

Qualifications

• 4+ years of backend development with .NET technologies
• Strong expertise in C#, .NET Core, and RESTful APIs
• Experience with Entity Framework Core and SQL Server
• Hands-on with Docker and Kubernetes environments
• Experience with microservices architectures
• Familiar with CI/CD pipelines and Azure DevOps
• Agile/Scrum experience
• Observability, monitoring, distributed tracing, and structured logging
• ITSM processes and incident severity management (P1–P4)
• Degree in Computer Science or related field
• English proficiency

About You

• Possess strong expertise in C#, .NET Core, and RESTful APIs


• Have experience with Entity Framework Core and SQL Server


• Have solid knowledge of Docker and Kubernetes environments


• Have hands-on experience with microservices architectures


• Are familiar with CI/CD pipelines and Azure DevOps


• Have experience working in Agile/Scrum teams


• Have strong troubleshooting, debugging, and performance profiling skills


• Have experience with observability, monitoring, distributed tracing, and structured logging


• Understand ITSM processes and incident severity management (P1–P4)
