Qualificações

• 5+ years of senior experience in FinOps, cloud cost management, or cloud financial analysis.
• Proven experience implementing cloud cost-reduction and optimization initiatives within a large organization.
• Strong technical or engineering background with understanding of cloud environments and application ecosystems.
• Professional experience with Microsoft Azure and AWS, with Azure expertise preferred.
• Strong analytical skills to analyze cloud costs, assess optimization opportunities, evaluate benefits, and track results of FinOps actions.
• Proficiency with Power BI for reporting, data analysis, and visualization.
• Strong stakeholder management skills across Europe to collaborate with product, application, technical, and business stakeholders.
• Affinity for influencing application owners and product teams.
• Experience with IBM Cloudability is a plus.
• FinOps or cloud certifications are a plus.
• Fluent English is mandatory.

Responsabilidades

• Identify and implement cloud cost-reduction initiatives across Azure and AWS.
• Support application owners and product teams in adopting FinOps practices and improvements.
• Analyze cloud costs, usage, and optimization opportunities to assess benefits of actions.
• Assess, implement, and track FinOps actions from identification to execution and measure impact.
• Follow up on cost-optimization opportunities identified through governance processes.
• Collaborate with product, application, technical, and other stakeholders across Europe to drive cloud cost optimization.
• Help product teams adopt FinOps practices when engagement levels are low.
• Contribute to cloud cost reporting, analysis, and monitoring using IBM Cloudability.
• Use Power BI for reporting and data analysis where Cloudability lacks coverage.
• Translate FinOps recommendations and cost analysis into practical actions with product and application teams.

As a Senior FinOps Expert at Ivy Partners, you will be tasked with:

• Identifying and implementing cloud cost-reduction initiatives across Azure and AWS.
• Supporting application owners and product teams in adopting and implementing FinOps practices and improvements.
• Analyzing cloud costs, usage, and optimization opportunities to assess the expected benefits of proposed actions.
• Assessing, implementing, and tracking FinOps actions from identification through to execution and measuring their impact.
• Following up on cost-optimization opportunities identified through the Group Operations governance process.
• Collaborating with product, application, technical, and other stakeholders across Europe to drive cloud cost optimization.
• Helping product teams adopt FinOps practices, particularly when engagement levels are low.
• Contributing to cloud cost reporting, analysis, and monitoring using IBM Cloudability.
• Using Power BI for reporting and data analysis where Cloudability does not cover the required reporting needs.
• Translating FinOps recommendations and cost analysis into practical actions and working closely with product and application teams to implement improvements.
• Able to work in hybrid set-up in Lisbon.

About you

You are our ideal candidate if:

• You have 5+ years of senior experience in FinOps, cloud cost management, or cloud financial analysis.
• You have proven experience implementing cloud cost-reduction and optimization initiatives within a large organization.
• You possess a strong technical or engineering background, with a good understanding of cloud environments and application ecosystems.
• You have professional experience with Microsoft Azure and AWS, with stronger Azure expertise preferred.
• You have strong analytical skills and the ability to analyze cloud costs, assess optimization opportunities, evaluate expected benefits, and track the results of FinOps actions.
• You have proficiency in Power BI and experience using it for reporting, data analysis, and visualization.
• You have strong stakeholder management skills and are able to collaborate effectively with product, application, technical, and business stakeholders across Europe.
• You are assertive, diplomatic, and able to influence application owners and product teams effectively.
• Experience with IBM Cloudability is a plus.
• FinOps or cloud certifications are a plus.
• Fluent English is mandatory.
