Job summary

Ivy Partners, a Switzerland-based consulting firm, is seeking a Senior Backend Developer .NET to design and maintain scalable services in a Lisbon-based team. You will work with .NET Core, C#, REST APIs, and microservices to deliver robust solutions for clients.

You will collaborate with product and business teams, implement CI/CD, monitor health with observability tools, and contribute to knowledge sharing.

Qualifications

Degree in Computer Science or a related field is required.
5+ years of backend development with C# and .NET technologies.
Strong experience with .NET Core, RESTful APIs, EF Core, and SQL Server.
Hands-on experience with microservices, Docker, and Kubernetes.
Familiar with CI/CD pipelines, Azure DevOps, and cloud environments (Azure preferred).
Strong troubleshooting, debugging, performance analysis, observability, and incident management skills.
Professional proficiency in English.

Responsibilities

Design, develop, and maintain scalable backend applications using .NET Core and C#.
Develop and optimize RESTful APIs and microservices architectures.
Ensure code quality, performance, security, reliability, and scalability through best practices.
Collaborate with product and business teams to deliver innovative solutions.
Manage production incidents, perform root cause analysis, and implement preventive actions.
Monitor application health using observability tools, including logs, metrics, and traces.
Support CI/CD processes, deployments, and contribute to technical documentation and knowledge sharing.
