Job summary

Imaginary Cloud, a remote-first software development and UX/UI design company, is seeking a skilled Mobile Developer specializing in Flutter. You will work on global projects, contribute to architecture, implement features, and collaborate with design and backend teams.

We value hands-on Flutter expertise, state management, testing, CI/CD, and end-to-end release experience. English fluency is required, and you’ll join an informal, human-centric culture with flexible hours and strong growth

Qualifications

• 5+ years of Mobile Development experience.
• 3+ years of hands-on Flutter development.
• Strong command of Dart syntax and OOP.
• Experience with Flutter state management approaches.
• Experience consuming RESTful APIs and local data storage.
• Proficiency in Flutter testing (Unit, Widget, Integration).
• Experience setting up CI/CD pipelines for mobile apps.
• End-to-end release process experience (Apple App Store, Google Play).
• Proficiency with Cursor IDE and Claude Code for development acceleration.
• Fluency in English (spoken and written).
• Nice to have: Kotlin/Java (Android) or Swift/Objective-C (iOS) for native integrations.

Responsibilities

• Develop mobile features using Flutter within a microservice-oriented architecture.
• Own architecture decisions and ensure scalable mobile solutions.
• Collaborate with design and backend teams to deliver high-quality apps.
• Set up and maintain CI/CD pipelines and automated tests.
• Manage release processes, certificates, provisioning, and submissions.

We would love to have you onboard if you have hands‑on experience in the following areas:

5+ years of Mobile Development experience

• 3+ years of extensive hands‑on experience using Flutter

• Strong command of Dart syntax, Object‑Oriented Programming (OOP), sound null‑safety, asynchronous programming (async/await, Future, Stream), generics, and extension methods.

• Deep understanding of the Flutter framework: widget tree, stateful vs. stateless widgets, custom widgets, keys, rendering pipeline, and efficiently managing rebuilds.

• Solid experience with modern State Management solutions (e.g., BLoC, Riverpod, or Provider) and scalable mobile architectures.

• Experience consuming RESTful APIs (using http or dio), handling error logic, retry mechanisms, and request interceptors.

• Experience with local data persistence and caching (e.g., SQLite, Hive, Isar, or SharedPreferences).

• Proficiency in writing well‑designed code with strong experience in the Flutter testing ecosystem (Unit, Widget, and Integration Testing).

• Proven experience setting up and maintaining CI/CD pipelines for mobile applications (e.g., Fastlane, Codemagic, GitHub Actions, or Bitrise).

• Hands‑on experience with the end‑to‑end release process, including managing certificates, provisioning profiles, and deploying applications to the Apple App Store and Google Play Store.

• Outstanding proficiency in using Agentic AI tools like Cursor IDE and Claude Code to accelerate code development, refactoring, and complex debugging.

• Fluency in English, both spoken and written.

• Nice to have: familiarity with native mobile languages (Kotlin/Java for Android, Swift/Objective‑C for iOS) to handle MethodChannels and platform‑specific integrations.
