Responsibilities
- Architect and govern the mobile architecture, using tools such as Dart Code Metrics to maintain code quality, balancing technical debt with feature delivery.
- Lead a cross‑functional team of approximately 8 developers and quality engineers, responsible for the team’s delivery performance, motivation and operational success.
- Act as a trusted partner to the Client Product Owner, Scrum Master and Architects, co‑creating technical solutions, providing accurate estimations, and bridging business requirements with engineering execution.
- Provide clear rules, guidance and structure for the development team, ensuring the architectural vision is effectively implemented by the Mobile Tech Lead and the wider squad.
- Work closely with the Scrum Master to optimise agile processes and collaborate with the People Manager to align on development goals, performance feedback and promotion inputs for team members.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology or a related field.
- Extensive experience (7+ years) in mobile application development with a strong track record in architecture.
- Deep expertise in Flutter, including state management, architectural patterns and governance tools (e.g., Dart Code Metrics).
- Proven experience leading development teams (6+ people), focusing on delivery, performance management and team motivation.
- Strong consulting skills with the ability to provide technical estimations, manage stakeholder expectations (PO/Architect level) and justify technical decisions.
- Experience balancing technical debt reduction with business feature delivery.
- Ability to translate complex architectural concepts into clear tasks for the team.
- Proven track record of maintaining high engineering standards through detailed code reviews and direct implementation of complex system components when necessary.
- Fluent in English with excellent communication skills for client consulting and team leadership.
- Experience with native mobile technologies (iOS and Android) and CI/CD pipelines.
