AMGEN Capability Center Portugal is seeking a Sr Machine Learning Engineer to design, build, and scale end-to-end ML and generative AI platforms. You will lead efforts across data engineering, model development, and production-grade services, fostering an enterprise-grade AI developer experience.

Qualificações

• 8+ years in AI/ML and enterprise software
• Deep knowledge of ML algorithms and modern GenAI techniques
• Experience selecting and integrating AI SaaS/PaaS offerings
• Proficiency in Python and Java; containerization and cloud environments
• Strong stakeholder management and ability to articulate technical concepts

Responsabilidades

• Engineer end-to-end ML pipelines and data workflows using modern MLOps stacks.
• Containerize models and expose secure REST/GRPC APIs for downstream use.
• Build full-stack AI applications integrating model services with UI/workflow layers.
• Optimize performance and cost at scale; tune auto-scaling and model performance.
• Establish observability, drift detection, and governance in collaboration with security teams.
