AMGEN in Lisbon is seeking an AI Engineer (Machine Learning & Generative AI) to join the Applied AI | AI Studio. You will own defined production components in enterprise AI products and work with data, models, and APIs to deliver scalable solutions.

The role emphasizes Python/SQL development, robust testing, cloud and MLOps practices, and collaboration with cross-functional partners to ensure governance, safety, and measurable business impact.

Qualificações

• Master’s or Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, IT or related field with relevant experience.
• Strong hands-on proficiency in Python and SQL, with solid software‑engineering practices.
• Experience with GenAI, NLP, RAG, and MLOps/platform engineering is a plus.

Responsabilidades

• Define component boundaries, acceptance criteria, and technical estimates with partners.
• Design and implement Python, SQL, APIs, data and model components with proper testing and docs.
• Develop GenAI, NLP, RAG components with structured output and embeddings.
• Build and maintain data, feature, and evaluation pipelines with governance checks.
• Release and support components using cloud services, containers, CI/CD and monitoring.
