AXA Group Operations in Lisbon, Portugal is seeking a highly skilled local accountant to ensure the accuracy of financial data and compliance with local regulations. You will manage the local entity's accounting activities, support internal controls, and collaborate with senior leaders to drive reliable financial decisions.

The role emphasizes timely closures, audit leadership, and cross-functional collaboration within a multinational finance team.

Qualificações

Bachelor's degree in accounting, Finance, or related field.
5–10 years of accounting experience focusing on local accounting practices and regulations.

Responsabilidades

Account closings, financial statements & tax returns.
Oversee day-to-day local accounting activities: AP/AR, general ledger, tax returns, and financial reporting.
Ensure reporting deadlines align with the global closing calendar (P/L and Balance Sheet).
Maintain compliance with local accounting standards, tax regulations, and statutory requirements.
Support internal controls and AXA Group Financial standards.
Prepare and analyze financial statements (P/L, balance sheets, cash flows).
Participate in internal audits and lead external audits.
