AXA Group Operations Finance is seeking a highly skilled Local Accountant to ensure the accuracy of financial data and compliance with local regulations. You will lead closings, prepare statements, and support internal controls within a multinational finance team.

In this role you will engage with senior leaders, drive effective audits, and contribute to continuous improvements in accounting practices while upholding AXA standards and regulatory requirements.

Qualificações

• Bachelor’s degree in accounting, Finance, or related field.
• 5–10 years of accounting experience focusing on local practices and regulations.

Responsabilidades

• Accountable for closings, financial statements & tax returns.
• Manage day-to-day accounting for the local entity including payables, receivables, and general ledger.
• Ensure reporting deadlines align with the global closing calendar.
• Ensure compliance with local accounting standards, tax regulations, and statutory requirements.
• Coordinate internal and external audits; lead external audits and provide documentation.
• Contribute to process improvements and financial reporting best practices.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams and senior leadership; provide insights on technical accounting topics.
• Maintain effective internal controls and support AXA Group standards.
